About Haley

The interesting thing about life is there are always options, the hard part about life is sometimes those options are hard to see. What I love about being a therapist is helping people recognize and act on these options when they are ready. Together we will explore what has you feeling stuck and out of options. I work to provide a comfortable, safe space where challenges can be met with curiosity and hope. I believe in the power of being heard, understood, and connected to others. In our work together I encourage laughter, tears and everything that falls in between because that is what it means to be human.

I am a Texas A&M graduate and received my Masters degree in Clinical Social Work from The University of Houston. While at the University of Houston I participated in the Child Trauma Program and trained at The Center for Success and Independence. I completed a Post-Graduate Fellowship at The Council on Recovery’s adult addictions Intensive Outpatient Program, Healing Choices, as part of its Center for Recovering Families.

Then I transitioned to The Menninger Clinic’s Pathfinder Program where I provided individual, family and group psychotherapy to Young Adults suffering from a variety of psychiatric symptoms. I am foundationally trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and intensively trained in Radically Open DBT.

I enjoy using a mix of behavioral therapies because sometimes awareness only gets you so far and new approaches are needed to experience long-term change. I find exploring attachment relationships and taking a Mentalizing stance is helpful in gaining insight into how we show up in relationships. Combining these interests, we will work to tailor our time together and address the reasons why you are seeking therapy.
